From time to time, we dye our 4ply/Fingering and 8ply/DK base using natural, or botanic dyes.

The dye matter is either sourced from the farm and from friends nearby, or as extracts from suppliers like Fabric of Humanity, Kraftkolour or Maiwa.

8ply Natural Polwarth (Manna Gum) dyed with Eucalyptus cinerea (Silver Dollar / Argyle Apple) for the coppery orange brick red.
8ply Natural Polwarth (Manna Gum) dyed with Exocarpos cupressiformis (Cherry Ballart / Native Cherry) resulting in a deep olive green.
