The Stables Studio offers an open, airy, modern fitout within the former horse stables originally built around 1905. A light filled double level space featuring textile art pieces, natural materials and the simple luxury of quiet space surrounded by trees, sheep and even an old stone ruin.
A large oak tree at the front door provides a shady spot to admire the long views across grassy paddocks and grazing sheep.
The Stables Studio is within the heritage listed grounds of Tarndwarncoort – a woolgrowing farm that is still run by the same family that settled here in 1840. There is a story everywhere you turn.
The Stables Studio is perfect for solo travellers and couples looking for a contained space to work on something creative or to unwind and enjoy the local dining at Brae Restaurant and around the Otway Harvest Trail.
Featuring a king size bed upstairs, air-conditioning, a large shower, full kitchen and wifi.
