8ply Hand-Dyed Polwarth Yarns (DK)
A various collection of our hand-dyed 8ply / DK Polwarth yarn in a range of colours and weights.
8ply / DK or Light Worsted
100gm - 192m (209yd)
100% Polwarth wool grown at Tarndwarncoort and nearby farms.
One of a kind dye lots +/- 100grams. (Any skeins more than 105gm or less than 95gm in a dyed lot are listed seperately with their weight in the drop menu. For example, #502 is the same dyelot as #502A and #502B, just with a different weight)
Soft (21-23micron). Non-superwash. Feltable. Perfect for jumpers, sweaters, hats, beanies, shawls.
Being hand-dyed these are often once off colours or colour blends. Often the way the colours take or donβt fully take to the yarn enriches the look of the finished knitted product.

Yarn manufactured in Geelong and Napier (NZ). Dyed and prepared by the Tarndie flock at Tarndwarncoort using acid dyes.
