Dyer's Skeins

Find your perfect colour and dye your own yarn using our Polwarth wool and Kraftkolour’s easy to use Landscape Dyes.

Each skein is tied with even dyeing in mind. Four figure-8 ties to keep the yarn organised while it’s swimming in the dye pot.

Test out the dye ratio and colour with a 25gm skein, and then go for a larger skein for that project!

The naturally cloured Ash and Taupe offers a unique earthy richness when dyed with a bright landscape dye. Take a look at the sample kits for Landscape dye.

These yarns are not bulked - which is occurs during either the dying process or the yarn is steamed if they are sold as natural shades.  The mill suggests that if you don’t plan to dye these skeins, steam or soak your yarn and drying thoroughly before knitting to achieve the most accurate gauge and best results.
