Back to Back Wool Challenge Beanie Pattern

$10.00

Showcase your creativity and contribute to a great cause!

To mark the 30th Back to Back Wool Challenge, a competition was held to find a beanie pattern that could be shared amongst the woolcraft community for the price of a donation to cancer support and research.

Avid knitter and first-time-pattern-writer, Linda Howie from Melbourne, Australia drew on her love of colourwork and her vocation as an engineer to create an ode to her ancestral connection to wool.

The Lancastrian Rose beanie is knit in 4ply/fingering and should fit an adult with a head circumference of 54 cm.

All proceeds of this pattern sale are donated to Rare Cancers Australia. See more here - https://give.rarecancers.org.au/fundraisers/tarndwarncoort/back-to-back-wool-challenge-at-tarndwarncoort-2026

Bring your beanie to the Back to Back day at Tarndwarncoort on 21 March 2026 to display either on your head or in an exhibition to show what can be done!
