Creative Otways Arts Trail

Tarndwarncoort is delighted to be taking part in the Creative Otways Arts Trail this November.

Artists, makers, galleries and creative spaces across the Otways will open their doors this November for the Creative Otways Arts Trail, inviting visitors to discover the remarkable creativity flourishing throughout the region.

Held on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026, from 10am–4pm, the Arts Trail offers visitors the opportunity to step inside working studios, meet local artists and makers, visit galleries and creative spaces and discover original artwork and handmade pieces.

At Tarndie, we’ll invite visitors to see demonstrations of Natural Indigo Dyeing with Heather Locock, as well as the opportunity to join Crafty Sundays (by registering prior here), and browsing our Wool Shop.

The trail brings together a diverse range of creative practices and provides a rare opportunity to meet the people behind the work, learn about their processes and experience the places and landscapes that inspire them.

More than an open studio weekend, the Creative Otways Arts Trail celebrates connection—between artists, communities and visitors—while encouraging people to explore the wider Otways region.

Visitors can use the Arts Trail map to create their own itinerary, travelling between participating venues while discovering local towns, landscapes, cafés and businesse salong the way.

The event also supports regional cultural tourism by encouraging visitors to stay longer, explore further and support the communities that make the Otways such a distinctive creative destination.
