Tarndie wool in the wild: a round-up of patterns

Every now and then, a hand made item circles back to the fibre source at Tarndie.

It’s a little homecoming that once spotted, illicits a good chat about the pattern, what yarn was used, any tweaks, recommendations and then probably a whole ‘nuther ramble on a different topic. Part of the magic in wearing hand made items must come from the unexpected conversations.

So here’s a little snapshot of our yarn out in the wild. Yarn markets and shows are a field day for spotters (bird lovers have twitchers, do we have a name for enthusiasts who can name a pattern from 50 yards?).
