Raw white Polwarth fleece direct from the sheep. Whole fleeces heavily skirted to leave only the shoulder, rump and hind. Fleece weights from 2kg - 3.1kg. Also available in 500gm, 1kg and 1.5kg parts of a whole fleece.
Polwarth wool from un-coated sheep with 12 months growth. Fleeces are direct from the sheep with no processing and contains dirt, vegetable matter and possible tip damage.
Shorn December 2023 and great for hand-spinning in the grease or scour it before spinning.
Soft handling for next to skin garments. 22-24 micron with staple lengths 9cm - 13cm. (length of fibre from tip to base)
